ManU 5 - MLS 2

Manchester United topped the MLS All-Stars 5-2 in the fifteenth annual led by Federico Macheda, who scored two goals in the first thirteen minutes of play.

Brian Ching and Dwayne De Rosario both were able to find the goal in the second half for the Major League Soccer side, but it wasn't enough to beat a team that has taken the EPL-title eighteen times in eighty-six seasons.

The match was played in front of 70,728 fans at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, which was the largest crowd for an MLS All-Star Game since the inaugural All-Star Game in 1996. It was also the biggest crowd for a soccer game at Reliant Stadium, one of the twenty-one stadiums listed in the US Bid for the 2018 or '22 FIFA World Cup™.

This was the first loss for the MLS All-Stars when they played against an international foe — winning their previous six.
