The Leaderboard
Is the Game in your city?
It's been a couple weeks since the last edition of the bid city leaderboard, so let's check in and see how much support each of our eighteen bid cities has.
For the first time in the last four leaderboards, our number one spot didn't change — Miami still holds that spot, but Houston isn't far behind. In fact, despite solid gains by each city, there wasn't much movement for our eighteen cities.
Kansas City is flying high after hosting the most-attended soccer game in the city's history when Manchester United faced off against the Kansas City Wizards on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium. KC was the only city to gain position in this leaderboard, switching spots with Indianapolis and taking the twelfth spot.
Our national support counter stands just shy of 900,000 and within reaching distance of the 1 million goal set by Landon Donovan earlier this month.
